amika is helping end hair loss for cancer patients!

amika has been a leader in the fight to end hair loss for cancer patients since 2017.

Until recently, hair loss was an inevitable and traumatic side effect of chemotherapy, but thanks to a revolutionary treatment called scalp cooling, people undergoing chemotherapy now have the option to keep their hair!

We have joined forces with HairToStay to help make scalp cooling available to those who could not otherwise afford the cost of the treatment. HairToStay is the first and only national nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to scalp cooling treatment, and we are honored to partner with them to help them in this fight. To date, HairToStay has awarded subsidies to over almost 4,000 low-income patients, and amika has funded nearly 500 of those!

Your contribution will help ensure another low-income cancer patient will have the option to keep their hair, and with it, their privacy, identity, and overall sense of well-being.
